About this tool

Paste some text, or open a .txt or .md file, and save it as a clean multi-page PDF. Choose A4 or Letter, a sans-serif, serif or monospace font, the font size and the margins. Lines are wrapped and paginated in your browser, so your text is not uploaded.

How to convert text to PDF free

  1. Paste or type your text, or open a .txt or .md file.
  2. Choose the page size, font, font size and margins.
  3. Press Make PDF and download the file.

Frequently asked questions

Does it format Markdown?

No. A .md file is treated as plain text, so symbols such as # and ** appear as typed.

Which languages work?

Western European text uses the built-in PDF fonts. Greek, Cyrillic, Vietnamese and other Latin text use an embedded Noto Sans. Scripts that need complex shaping, such as Arabic or Devanagari, are drawn as images, so that text cannot be selected.

Is my text uploaded?

No. The PDF is built in your browser and your text never leaves your device.
