About this tool

Hide faces, number plates or other details before you share a photo. DocPro looks for faces on your device and puts a box on each; you can add, move, resize or remove boxes, then choose blur, pixelate or a solid block. The saved photos have no EXIF or location data, and nothing is uploaded.

How to blur faces and details in photos free

  1. Choose one or more photos.
  2. Check the boxes that were found on faces, and draw, move or delete boxes by hand.
  3. Pick blur, pixelate or solid block and the strength, then save the photos.

Frequently asked questions

Will it find every face?

No. Detection can miss small, turned, covered or very blurry faces, so check each photo and draw boxes where needed. You can also box things that are not faces, such as number plates or documents.

Is blurring safe for sensitive details?

A strong blur or pixelation hides most things from the eye, but a solid block is the safest. Use the solid block for anything that must not be recovered.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Face detection and editing run in your browser. Saved photos are re-encoded, so location and camera metadata are not copied into them.
